Audax supporting live events across the UK this Autumn alongside the launch of new BWV solutions

Audax Global Solutions Ltd, world leaders in pioneering body worn video (BWV) technology, are proud to be showing their support for the UK’s exhibition industry, taking part in The Emergency Services Show (stand L85) at the NEC, Birmingham on 7-8 September, International Security Expo (stand C2) at Olympia, London on 28-29 September and the BAPCO Annual Conference & Exhibition (stand C20) at the Coventry Building Society Arena, Coventry on 12-13 October.

Audax will also be the badge sponsors at all three events, whilst at The Emergency Services Show the company are the headline sponsor of the Future Policing Zone, including the Seminar Theatre where on 7th September at 10.45am, Audax’s Adam Liardet, Managing Director and Founder and Derek Horne, International Sales Manager will be presenting in The Future Policing Theatre, sharing their views on the future of body worn video.

These shows provide the ideal platform to share Audax’s latest technology innovations with professionals in the emergency services and security industries.

Audax will be launching a new range of British designed and British manufactured docking stations for their award-winning body worn video cameras, providing a simple, agile solution for those customers faced with poor or unreliable data transfer upload speeds. These latest products enable users to dock multiple devices simultaneously, sync evidence automatically as well as analyse, tag, store and organise evidence. Audax now provides all software products pre-installed within the docking station and 120GB internal SSD, offering a secure, out of the box solution. The system is fully scalable and can cater for smaller standalone sites through to enterprise cloud requirements.

The docking station solution is a critical and integral part of a modern BWV system that’s importance is often overlooked. It is well established that the use of BWV deters violence and thus enhances staff safety. With the provision of impartial, accurate evidence these devices are also used to speed up the justice process by reducing case report preparation and thus enabling time and cost savings. Ensuring the preservation of the evidence chain can only be efficiently done via a docking station, with a simple and secure method of transferring data to a storage facility on a local or network drive that takes into consideration that most customers operate a secure network.

Proudly supporting the Plymouth community this V J Day 75th + 1.

This weekend is a time for the people of Plymouth to come together to remember the end of WWII.

This is a special occasion for so many of our team, which is made up of many ex-service people, as are most of our contractors and consultants too. In fact, in recognition of our support to the defence community, Audax were proud to have been awarded the Silver employer recognition scheme Award of the Armed Forces Covenant.

As a local business, with headquarters in The Millfields, Plymouth, we want to do what we can, not only to commemorate the incredible sacrifices of our armed forces, but also to support our neighbours, friends and family here in Devon. That’s why we’re proud to be sponsoring this event – Plymouth Remembers.

Starting with a Memorial service at Minster Church of St. Andrew, members of the public are then invited to let their hair down and celebrate with some great music, just as the good people of Plymouth did 76 years ago on Sunday 15th August.

Entry costs only £3.00 to come along to the Guildhall to hear the great voices of some amazing acts. This is such a small cost to be entertained by those who have performed in packed out theatres, West End shows by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and on glamorous cruise ships around the world.

  • 13:30 – F.E.P.O.W Families lay crosses and wreaths outside of St. Andrews followed by the Lord Mayor of Plymouth and the Military representatives.
  •  14:25 – Arrival of Deputy Lieutenant of Devon for the start of the service.
  •  16:00 – End of service and the Deputy Lieutenant of Devon will lay the alter wreath at the Rowan Tree before heading off to the Guildhall. 
  • 16:20 – Public entry to the Guildhall for the start of the celebration until 21:00

Audax reaffirms its commitment to protecting Police and EMS workers across Belgium with SPOED 112 symposium sponsorship

Audax, world leaders in pioneering body worn video (BWV) technology, is collaborating once again with SPOED 112 to raise awareness and promote action to prevent aggression against Police & Emergency Medical Service (EMS) workers in Belgium.

Having proudly been a direct sponsor of the last two aggression against EMS awareness campaigns with SPOED 112, the UK based company is now set to be the presenting partner at a symposium in Antwerp on violence against emergency workers and police on 27th October 2021.

Audax is keen to play an active role alongside SPOED 112 to ‘aid those who help us’ in the UK, in Belgium and elsewhere as body worn cameras are a proven solution to mitigate the risk of aggression and violence within the sector. In addition to headline event sponsorship, Audax will be carrying out demonstrations of its BWV technology for attendees.

As featured in the latest issue of SPOED magazine, more and more emergency services and law enforcement workers are equipped with bodycams. In fact, other sectors are also showing interest in utilising body worn video due to their broad range of applications.

In addition to traditional users, such as police, ambulance, and fire brigades, they can also be used for public transport, event security as well as during military operations. In the Netherlands and Belgium, bodycams are especially useful for recording evidence and discouraging undesirable behaviour, but they are also particularly useful as a training tool to replay live incidents to new operatives.
